Mission Memorial Building Renovation

KATAYAMA & ASSOCIATES, INC. was the mechanical engineering for this historic building renovation. This project restored the original building design and intent from the use of a modular furniture office to the current auditorium use with approximately 200 people seating capacity. The project also added air conditioning and fire sprinklers throughout. The air conditioning system consisted of a floor mounted air handling unit located in the basement level room and is connected to the City Hall’s chilled water plant. The building’s air conditioning system was also connected to the City Hall’s Energy Management system. A new fire main pipe was brought in to service the fire sprinklers for this building.
