Aiea Public Library
The Aiea community required a new larger library that would be an integral part of the Aiea Town Center Master Plan. The new library was built at the former Aiea Sugar Mill site, adjacent to Aiea High School, Aiea Intermediate School, and Gus Webling Elementary School. The new library was designed and built as a “sustainable” building per Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. The library achieved LEED Gold Level.
